I specialize in front-end development, and love the process of bringing designs and application functionality to life.

I'm currently a web developer at Salt XC, an experiential marketing agency based in Toronto. I've developed a mixture of custom code and CMS websites for products and brand activations using React, Next.js, Drupal and Wordpress. These projects have ranged in complexity from simple landing pages to multi-page full-stack websites based on client needs.

In addition to my full-time role, I've lead the development of an administrative web application for a local business in need of customized service automation.

I'm a freelance software developer with Spike Onsite Solutions, a construction services company in Toronto. Spike's web application is a service automation interface for handling bin rentals, site clean-up scheduling and invoice management. Admins and customers create jobs that are later assigned to drivers, who will have information on the customer's company, site address, and overall job details on their dashboard. The application's tech stack is ReactJS and Firebase.

My contributions to the application include:

  • Extend the functionality of services from picking and dropping off bins to exchanging bins, unloading and returning bins, and one-time bin fill services
  • Add admin features, list and view filtering, colour coordinating job types on Kendo React calendar view
  • Improve mobile responsiveness of the application for admin
  • Build customer-facing interface for clients to create a profile, add sites, and schedule jobs
  • Update Google Cloud functions for handling new customer creation logic
  • Add and test Cloud Firestore security rules for application's customer side to protect sensitive information
  • Integrate SendGrid API for email notifications
  • Documenting and handling bugs and fixes

    At Salt XC as a web developer, I handle all in-house development projects. My main tasks involve collaborating with Labatt's MarTech team to manage web maintenance and execute strategic project initiatives across multiple brand websites, enhancing user experience and driving digital engagement. I also build full stack websites for a range of clients, create scalable website templates and component libraries, and work on internal applications such as analytics dashboards. Our primary technologies are NextJS, Supabase, Drupal and Wordpress, and we're advancing our CMS capabilities with Contentful, Webflow and Builder.io.
